But I suspect a > new instrument would be too expensive for your purposes. Too expensive? I've not run out of money yet, I've still got change from 100 having bought the theodolite, tripod, sextant and quite a few extras. I'm now a dab hand at finding where I am anywhere in the UK (when the sun shines ... if the sun ever shines), I can strip down a theodolite and rebuild it and not only does it still work, but it is even accurate!! Prism? What about a small mirror and some blutac? ummmmm... don't fancy jagging my eye onto cut glass ... but hang on my wife's got a dental mirror, I wonder if she will notice if it gets a slight modification? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to NavList@fer3.com To , send email to NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
