While looking through: Practical tables for navigators and aviators, by Armistead Rust 1918 - 116 pages I came upon his TABLE A--Log Secants and Cosecants. (One of several tables used in a reducion method he describes.) It is one page! Copy attached. Combining this with the Sec/Cosec method (see for example, Precomp Navigation, by Philip Van Horn Weems, 1969 - 18 pages), one has perhaps THE shortest tabular method, ONE page! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ NavList message boards: www.fer3.com/arc Or post by email to: NavList@fer3.com To , email NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
