Hi Greg,

You picked up on my error in estimation of the distance to the shore of the horizon onto which i shot Venus.I got the chart out for the area and the distance is 1.9 NM not 1.1.Thanks for taking the time to look at my daytime Venus,I must learn to pay attention to the details.

I get 1.2 NM toward Venus using a natural horizon. Paul may need to explain his dip short procedure. Dip correction for 6.3 ft is -2.4' vs. -3.7' corr. for a 1.1NM horizon from a 6.3 ft H.E.
