You can always subtract the ice thickness from your Height of eye
calculation.
You are lucky that your Celesticomp is still working. I can't help
you with it's built in Almanac since I haven't even seen one in 3 years.

I do have a question about using the horizon on the frozen ocean. Does having four feet of ice over the surface of the ocean affect the accuracy of a shot?I also wonder if anyone knows how long the database in the Celesticomp V is good for?
