On waterproofness: 330 m waterproofness is basically stating waterproof up 330 m water column or 33 hPa. 50 m waterproofness likewise states 5 hPa. One would be quite able to surpass the latter either slamming the watch onto a water surface or having a (even quite small) wave slam onto it.
On a watch featuring hacking: a few months ago I was able to find a Wenger Field Classic Chronograph (with an ETA G10.211 movement) over the internet in Luxembourg for €90 which features hacking. It's accuracy is rated within max +/- 15 s/month, but in reality it runs within +/- 3 s/month. I have to wait and see how it will do once spring and summer arrive, bringing along higher temperatures.
My favorite watch would be the Christopher Ward C70 Brooklands or DBR1 COSC, rated (certified) within +/- 10 s/year and sporting a specially upgraded thermo-compensated ETA 251.272 "COSC" movement. But at $790 it is a bit over my budget.
