 "Using NetMeeting
NetMeeting provides people around the world with a new way of communicating.
With NetMeeting, you can participate in meetings, work in shared programs
using NetMeeting features, and transfer information over the Internet or
your corporate intranet. In addition, you can talk to people using audio,
video, or Chat.

Open NetMeeting.

  a.. To open a communications item, click Start, point to Programs, point
to Accessories, point to Communications, and then click the appropriate
icon.

You'll find this is one of the under-used areas in Windows, but yes, it can
be used for online conferencing and to "share" anything that can be on any
one of the computers. Including whiteboards, or Paint, etc. Apparently it is
a bit network-intensive, even MS uses other conferencing products once the
volume of users gets "big".
