Robert Eno:
I've used the NA Concise Tables a couple of times, all in connection with the Power Squadron Nav Course, which I did not finish, I don't care for the computer program Route Planning that is part of the syllabus currently.
In any event being a "landlocked navigator" likely a poor one at that, the complaints offered by Mr. Eno and others ring true to me.
There seems to be, with the NA Tables, endless "messing about", multiple entries and so on, all of which open the operation to error. Respecting my efforts at sight reduction being error prone to begin with, the NA Tables seem a poor approach.
Additionally, re theie use in "emergency situations" in cases of "high stress", seems to me that the NA Tables would be a poor choice, though they do work, as even I was able to determine.
