Appears you are receiving a lot of good input, Mike. In one post you consider putting a cheap digital camera on a 5m pole and triggering it to take photos at intervals. Microsoft has a free download for Windows, called "Timershot", with which you can take pictures at specified time intervals from a web camera connected to your computer, and save them to a location that you designate. You can buy a web camera for not much more than a cheap digital camera. Don't know if this will meet your current needs, but it seems an interesting application . Here is the link to the website where you can download the software: www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx Good luck.
