Really this sounds quite bizarre and a lot of wishful thinking, the configuration of the stars can be made to 'prove' anything Zheng He (or Cheng Ho depending on who's transliteration one follows) 'The three-jewelled eunuch', is known to have made seven expeditions in all which are well chronicled and leave little time between them for a quick circum-navigational dash. Although it is not inconceivable tha such a voyage was made it is extremely unlikely that it would have escaped the attention of the Chinese civil service that chronicled everything. The earliest known extant Chart as such is the Mao K'un map which dates from the 1620's and is based on Ma Huan's account of the voyages of Zheng He in the early 1400's NG
