Looks real to me! If you would like to see more halo phenomena, go to Google Images search here: https://www.google.com/imghp and type in 'sun halo sundog'. Then click search. Lots and lots of beautiful photos (as well as a couple of "artwork" fakes).

On most computers, right-click. On most tablets, including the iPad, these secondary functions are usually "press and hold" actions. Find any photo while web browsing, press your finger on it and hold it steady for about a second. A menu of options will come up including a 'save' option. Try that press and hold trick in other places, like while reading text. There are many useful options hidden away in there. You should also learn how to do a "screen capture" on your iPad (for various reasons, including the possibility of a web site which has disabled right-click saving). Tap the main button and the small power button on your iPad simultaneously. The screen will flash and you will find a photo of the complete screen you were viewing in your photos folder.
