Hanno,
> There is still a lot of white space - can you enlarge your tables
It looks looks like a lot, but only until you print it and cut it.
I had to make margins at least 0.25" on all sides, since my printer introduces quite a bit of randomness in positioning of the image on the page. After printing it and looking at it I think I might get away with slightly smaller inside margin, but not by much.
The size of the page is pretty much determined by the font size. Currently it uses 6 pt font because 6.5 pt would cause *some* of the tables not to fit horizontally and not quite fit vertically. I could do something with vertical fit by decreasing line spacing, as you suggest.
Increasing step from 1' to 2' should definitely make test runs easier.

The digits in this font variant are indeed monospaced. Apparently fonts nowadays contain a lot of stuff that they did not used to have in the good old days, such as alternative number forms. This font has 3 different number forms: proportional, monospaced and "old style" and ms word is kind enough to let me choose which one I want. (Old style is like in the old books -- with some digits going over and some under the base line. I found these hard to read, since I've been mostly exposed to "modern" letter forms, which are all of the same height.)
BTW, the fonts on the website you mention all start at 8 pt. I understand that they all can be scaled down to 6 pt, but apparently that was not the intention of their designers. Did you have experience with those fonts at smaller size and which ones can you recommend?
Also, regarding your later comment about integers/decimal point. I just blindly followed format of "Compact Ageton Tables" I downloaded somewhere from the internet and they had a decimal fraction for entries <10000.
