    Just to make sure it's not an issue, the formula quoted in the
    explanation in the Nautical Almanac (the one that's been posted here)
    is not used in the creation of the table in the front of the almanac.
    That formula in the explanation is included for folks using handheld
    calculators. It's a convenient approximate formula, good enough for
    most practical work.
