May be one of two "Aleufa" is indeed "Alcufa", i.e. the mistake was done in the copy. Alcufa is probably al-Kufah, a city in Iraq about 170 km south of Baghdad.
The modern longitude of al-Kufah is 44;24 E, i.e. approximately as modern Baghdad longitude - 44;25 E.Could you please send me the copy of J.K. Wright article?
