    I had the same impression from their broshure I have,
    though they did not say directly that they invented
    or introduced it
    and when. The broshure is of early 40-s if
    I remember correctly.
    
    The same company often advertized their "Patented infinite screw",
    which (as george explained to us) was a predecessor of the modern
    drum.
