Yep, that was my intention, I posted to the archive to avoid sending all the attachments to everyone on the list. thanks for making the change. gl On Feb 24, 9:16am,wrote: > Hi Gary. > > Attached files were previously limited to TEN total files which was more than I imagined would ever be desired with a single message. I have now increased that considerably. Your files and your message are in place on the server. I will send you a link off-list in about an hour that will permit you to review and edit, if necessary, and then post your message without re-uploading the files and re-typing your message. > > Just one thing: LINK the larger files rather than attaching them. If you send something larger than two or three megabytes to the whole NavList membership (total size including all attachments), there are likely to be problems and complaints. There's nothing wrong with uploading and using the link facility to make large files, even very large files, available to the group, but just think twice before you send them out as true attachments. I assume that was your intention, so I'm just reiterating this for general consumption. > > -FER --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Navigation List archive: www.fer3.com/arc To post, email NavList@fer3.com To , email NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
