Looking at slide rules on ebay.com, the ads go on and on, I noticed mention of a cd entitled The Ultimate Slide Rule Collection, the cost of which was just a little south of $6.00, the seller pays postage. Having ordered it, the cd arrived today, and off handedly, while some of the books contained thereon are of no interest to me, others might view them differently, 2 items sort of jumped out.

One is The handbook of the "double" slide rule shewing ( I haven't mistyped here), its application to navigation.

The other is a book entitled The spiral slide rule, which brought to mind the many posts on the Bygrave slide rule.There might be a connection, I don't know.

All in all, there are, I believe 16 or so books, and booklets on the cd. Some readers might find the contents of interest, a listing of titles contained can likely be found on eBay.
