Good morning all, can't think of any special I do with it Jim, on a small chart table it seems handier than two bigger 45's. I got used to using it a *few* years ago when I did drafting work - picked up extra money doing inked schematics & graphs for grad students' PhD thesis at PSU - I am I dating myself or what?I use it for smaller work like NMT & NLT danger bearing lines. Certainly nothing you can't use regular triangles or parallel rulers for. Just a personal preference. One suggestion would be to get the colored plastic though, I have a hard time keeping track of the little clear fella sometimes (and the big ones too) lying on the chart. Take care all Paul -----Original Message----- From Jim Manzari [mailto:manzari@BLUEWIN.CH] Sent: Thursday, August 05, 1999 7:24 AM To: NAVIGATION-L@LISTSERV.WEBKAHUNA.COM Subject: Re: triangles "Young, Derrick" wrote: > > Jim, I don't know what Paul had in mind for the triangles but - I keep a > couple of 30/60/90 and 45/45/90 triangles handy. I do the same -- the reason I asked the question was the 3-inch size of Paul's triangles. I couldn't see how such small size would be useful. I was wondering if I'd missed some new trick. BTW, I forgot one additional item in my kit, the stop watch. Regards, Jim Manzari
