George, Frank, Fred etal: First I apologize for the HTML msgs. I had eudora set to send stylized text' as html. Don't know what I did to get stylized text but it shouldn't happen again. Second, I have to withdraw what I said in the previous msg; after more study I found that the Mosier routines do include corrections for oblateness as detailed in the Astronomical Almanac page K5 so my original results pertain. The algorithm shown in my 1998 AA is commented out in the code and a different one is implemented so I assume it came from a post 1998 AA. I can write it down and send it if anyone is interested. I'd be happy to participate in generating new data for some simpler test case. Suggest we spell out the conditions, place, time (TDT), temp, pressure, etc in detail. Sorry for all the confusion.
