    Another interesting anecdote - I pointed the students and TF's to the Neave planetarium to get them ready for work with stars.    It's an online planetarium, which is pretty neat, but I found out can lead to some misconceptions.

    Some students were quite well prepared for the night sky from looking at Neave for the date and time of the exercise.

    One teaching fellow showed up and said that she was excited to be able to see Pluto.   Neave shows planets with all the same visual brightness on the display, although if you click on them, you can see their true magnitude.   She thought Pluto would be visible because it was 'bright' on the application.
