Had the chance to do a few sight reductions today using SIGHT REDUCTION TABLES FOR SMALL BOAT NAVIGATION by Hewitt Schlereth. These tables are based on Pub 229 yet no bigger than a Nautical Almanac. I did enjoy using them and found them every bit as good as the larger version. Intercepts will be larger requiring careful plotting. Latitude coverage is limited to 58 N to 58 S. Declination is limited to 29 N to 29 S. Very high quality publication and binding. Great job Hewitt !
