EBBCO/filters

I bought a secondhand EBBCO sextant, and the filters all have "stuck" to the glass in the middle (or is that unstuck around the edges), in either case there is a ring on the filter and a double image through the sextant. I've tried contacting local boat shops and the french company that took over EBBCO but without success and I am looking for advice on how to replace the filters (and keep my eyesight!) As one filter was bubbled, I tried to replace it with a sheet from "eclipse" glasses, and although it works, it is too dim to be useful.
