Just looking at the numbers should the LHA be 11d 46' W rather than 9d 46' W ? I have a copy of Arthur A. Ageton, Manual of Celestial Navigation, 1961. In the preprinted forms for using the method, Admiral Ageton suffixes both G.H.A. and L.H.A. with W. Granted it is unnecessary, but it is his method. The book is interesting as it gives a method for reducing sights from not only the D.R. position as I learned in JN but also from an assumed position. Does anyone know how Admiral Ageton pronounced his name. Was it "age ton" or "aj a ton" ? I have heard both said.
