I use Celestaire Freedom Red LED flashlight for reading watch and sextant scales. It is very small, has a clip to attach it to anything (like a hat), and the most important feature: the brightness can be easily regulated. Alex. It is a bit bright and has no red filtering. A simple solution was several layers of clear tape, each layer colored by a red marker. Trim the edges with a razor. The light fits handily in my Astra case without removing it. > > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > NavList message boards and member settings: www.fer3.com/NavList > Members may optionally receive posts by email. > To cancel email delivery, send a message to NoMail[at]fer3.com > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > > > > > > > > : http://fer3.com/arc/m2.aspx?i=120330 > > >
