Hi Renee, This sextant is / was generic. It was sold under a wide variety of names including Simex, International, MAC, Master and Capella and others that escape me now. Tamaya offered a similar sextant as did Nautech, under their private label. Even though we (Nautech) bought ours from Tamaya, it is my belief that Tamaya purchased from a low cost manufacturer.
