    Hi Kermit,

I kept Jupiter, Rigel, and Fomalhaut.  I simply deleted the other two from the spreadsheet - AFTER I saw the GPS result and the plot. :-)  In the attached plot erase the Capella and Moon LOPs and the "diamond" surrounding my original result (black square) becomes a much smaller triangle ("cocked hat") consistent with this new computed result:

    Lat: N 8d 48.3'
    Lon: E 109d 44.9'

    RE: NavList Post # 22736
    Hello Peter,
Thanks for your reply. It opens up interesting tracks to explore ...
    RE : QUOTE
I get much closer to the GPS value if I use only the three "appropriately selected :-)" LOPs out of the five available.
    UNQUOTE
First question (I might have further ones down the line) : Which such 3 bodies did you use ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Kermit
