Metal-framed, half-moon glasses with movable nose pieces can ride far
enough down on my nose that I can bring the telescope up to my eye.
The old plastic type that Bruce modeled so bravely for his book don't
ride down the nose, and stay, as well as the metal ones. One can even
peer through them when down the nose to read the watch and record the
    data.
