    No I have not sprayed anything into that mechanism prior to becoming
    stuck. Mind you, it will move, but with significant force.
    My only theory is that some debris / hardened lubrication / or whatever
    has come off by my initial rotation. Or perhaps a temperature / moisture
    effect from the changes between my home and its original home.
    I'll try lifting and twisting without any chem stuff.
