Hi, All -
I just wanted to let you know that I nominated Meng Ruo's video piece on Cook's Lunars for a local prize here at Harvard called the Conant Prize.
It's for an outstanding essay or presentation done by an undergraduate as part of their coursework. It's across the entire Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
They give out two of these per semester - one for a traditional project (e.g. paper) and one for a non-traditional project (e.g. a video).
In any case, I just found out that Meng Ruo won the fall semester Conant prize for her video.
I'm pretty happy for her.
Best,
John H.
