I am attaching two photos from another forum. They are some old family photos from a 1947 Atlantic crossing aboard the SS Sue Lykes. The officer in the photos is Captain Goff, who liked to demonstrate navigation to the young lady passengers. Can anything interesting be determined about the sextant used?
