Can't go wrong with the 2-sided plastic planishpere "The Night Sky" by David Chandler. Alas, the inner wheel is cardboard but pretty well protected by being sandwiched in plastic. Dew proof. I think it's the best of the lot, and that's my pick for quick and easy. Almost every useable star in the sky from sunset to sunrise with no GHA for Aries needed. Constellations, the ecliptic and equator. But wait, there's more! The summer triangle, winter octagon, open star clusters, nebula, globular star clusters, galaxies and some deep sky locations. I do own a Rude (which Frank has no use for) but it's for serious cel nav, planning the stars or (planets) you can shoot in the short window between sunset and the end of nautical twilight, or the beginning of nautical twilight and sunrise.
