Yes Greg,
the error is D = (Ea2-Ea1)/(2*SIN((Z2-Z1)/2)), where Ea is the random error of each LoP.
so when Z2-Z1 = 180º the bisector is optimal, "bisectriz de altura óptima", that is, the error is minimum.

It is possible to discover systematic error on a two body fix. This is done by taking a back sight on one of the bodies observed (needs an Hs above 60°). The difference in moa between the plotted parallel LOP divided by 2 will be the systematic error which can then be applied to the second observed body (of any Hs) to get an improved two body fix.
