Hi Mark,

I evaluated on board the old Nobeltec, I do not know about the new 3D.

I also used MaxSea 3D, now Timezero, very valuable and very expensive.

For years I used on boar C-Map, I gave some brief courses to sailors about it use, so I got a copy of the soft and the nautical charts of our area. A friend of mine has the 3D option for fishing and is incredible.

Nowadays I use OpenCPN, for me the best free option. Not 3D:
