There is, I think, a transcription error in Andres' solution to this problem. He has taken the time of the Pollux observation to be 21:00:00, but the time given was 21:00:50. So his Pollux position line should be shifted Westwards by 3.3' of longitude, by my reckoning, if everything else is correct. I hope that in time Greg R will present us with his own solution to the problem he has set, calculated in accordance with the restrictions he has imposed on others.
