Just bought a 10 foot section of 4" non-pressure PVC, going to cut it into two 3 foot section and leave the remaining section at 4 foot for those larger charts. Most of my charts do fit within the 3 ft range of tubing, but I have about 7 that need specially adapted tubes. I heve switched over to PVC and will now see how many charts will roll comfortably inside, I am hoping 10 or 12 will. I will keep the list posted. Thanks for all the chatter and posts, I like the banter, let's keep it up.
And it is weems and plath that sells an expandable 20" to 48" chart tube. They aren't cheap and that is why I am trying to make my own.
Cheers, rommel
