I ended up having to disassemble an old A-10 and I’m trying to get it back together correctly.
I’ve gotten the gear attached to the movable prism fairly close - 25 low reading, 33 low, 34 low, 28 low, 25 low.
I finally reached this point by moving the prism and gear and reengaging the gear without really being able to tell where I was. Really fine teeth for old eyes.
It looks like I need to adjust another 30 minutes but I don’t know if that’s possible using the gear and worm.
Has anyone ever figured out how much one tooth changes things? If it’s 30 minutes, I can eventually get there. If it’s 60 minutes, that’s not the solution.
The readout isn’t the solution. One turn there is 60 minutes.
