Christian: The Observer's books of Astro-Navigation are now probably very difficult to obtain. I have been scouring second-hand bookshops all my life and only came across them very rarely by chance. Being small, made of poor quality paper (it was wartime and paper was rationed), and of a very minority interest, I have no doubt over the years most people as they come across them just threw them out as being of no significance. (If someone was clearing a deceased parent's posessions for example). Also, regrettably, second-hand bookshops canot make a living anymore in this country with the high costs of shop premises so they have all but dissapeared. Your only chance is to look on the internet as most second-hand bookdealers now use that as their outlet. Douglas Denny. Chichester.
