I have gotten into the old propaganda-ish WW2 films made during the war (Sahara, Action in the North Atlantic, etc.) and watched Air Force (1943) last night. Pretty gingoistic, but John Garfield did a good job. Anyway, at about 21 minutes in the navigator pulls out his A-12 and looks busy. Pretty fun but quick view. He hit Wake Island coming from Pearl Harbor, so he did a solid job with that A-12:
