Hi

I have received today my (4th) sextant, and it is an A-7 bought on Ebay.

After reading that so many sextants are sold with a missing bubble, you can't imagine my surprise when I was able to form a bubble with it (my first). I had not read much about hearing a click when forming a bubble, but that sound really gave me goose bumps today.

Thank you to all contributors of this web site, you cannot imagine how much reading your comments, and sifting through your pdf's and pictures are enjoyable and a source of learning.

A small question. Does anybody have the A-7 manual, but WITH pages from 23 to 56 ?

Completely unrelated, if any body has converted a Kollsman periscopic 28450 sextant to become a (non-periscopic) Kollsman MA-1, I would be most interested to know of your experience.
