There was a DDoS attack on the servers that host NavList (and thousands of other web sites) this afternoon. The disruption lasted about three hours and ended about two hours ago. If any of you sent any messages during this period, please check the message boards here to make sure that they went through. If not, re-send. Please don't re-send without checking first.
There is also scheduled maintenance coming soon:
"The email server for your fer3.com account is scheduled to be upgraded on:
Monday, September 24th, 2014 Between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Pacific time
We are upgrading because the server hardware is aging (etc.)"
That's fine. OK. Except... Monday, September 24?? Which calendar are they using? In any case, expect a two-hour delay in some messages either tonight from 2100-2300 PDT or some time in the next few days during that time period. No messages should be lost during that outage. They will be queued for later delivery.
