I'm bringing this up pre-emptively. There are changes in email sending and forwarding standards initiated and enforced by Google that are scheduled to go into effect on Thursday (1 Feb 2024). Because of Google's near-monopolistic power, they can do what they want and drag the rest of the internet along for the ride. With any luck, their new policies will not be a problem for NavList email recipients. It's also possible that the new policies will cause significant problems for NavList email recipients. If so, I will do whatever I can.
Note that there is no threat or problem for normal web access to NavList messages. Once again, just go here: https://NavList.net. But if you stop receiving NavList emails in a few days, first, don't panic. I will be working on it if necessary. Second, don't panic... because you can follow all messages and reply via the message boards. In short, don't panic. :) Oh, and third, when in doubt, if you experience any problems, email me (and just to be safe, use my gmail address clockworkmapping@gmail.com)
Let's hope for the best. Please no replies on this topic.
Thanks,
Frank Reed
