Meanwhile, in blizzard news... The storm is over, but there sure is a lot of snow here on Conanicut Island. Maybe a meter... maybe only three feet. And the ground was already covered with snow that was melting fast but still eight inches deep in spots before the blizzard. We lost power here for about seven hours yesterday. Other than that, no serious problems. This was the worst blizzard I have ever seen personally. As most of you know, I spent most of my adult life in Chicago, and there were two blizzards there that came close. But this one wins.
