AP3270 Table 5 Correction to Tabulated Altitude for minutes of Declination.
Need to determine whether figure from table 5 is to be added or subtracted to/from Hc by inspection of main sight reduction table. I am looking at page 52 degrees Declination (15 - 29) Contrary Name to Latitude. Hc for 18 degrees declination 14 degrees LHA is 18 degrees 57 minutes.
Hc for 19 degrees declination 14 degrees LHA is 17 degrees 57 minutes
Therefore correction to Hc for minutes of declination will need to be subtracted?
There is a tiny - in the column in the main table but as only have 1 page of AP3270 in a book for reference I am unable to look to see if other pages have +
