Herman,
Here are a few pics that might show better how to use the custon drilled holes on the Douglas plotter. This probably needs a video which I am not set up to do. The idea is to be able to construct a plotting sheet and plot on a small chart table without dividers using just one thin ultra compact plotting tool.
