Re using an AH, I have one from the Davis people, I have run AM and PM sun shots about 4-5 hours apart, both standing and as I recall, kneeling. I found standing to be more comfortable. As for the results obtained,I believe they were a calculated fix within 2 NM of GPS coordinates.
In theory, kneeling might give better accuracy, however where one is more comfortable is or could be a factor too.
