Bruce,
I paid ~US$240 for the Barker. It seems as though I may have really gotten lucky. Other listings I saw went as high as ~US$630, and those didn't seem to be in very good condition, nor did they have all of the bells and whistles that the Barker has. Some of the photos were of very poor quality, making it tough to assess the condition. A few even appear to be "reproductions" (probably not very accurate). Anyway, there aren't very many box sextants listed, currently. If you have some time before your trip, I'd wait and see if any new listings pop up. I didn't find the one I purchased the first few times I searched. It wasn't until I started using other terms that I found it (e.g. "pocket sextant", "drum sextant", etc.)
The seller I purchased from (kkennethqin4fnr) told me that they sell "many sextants" and advised me to email him if I was looking for something. I'd be glad to do that on your behalf, if you like. Bear in mind, though, that I haven't received mine yet, so I cannot absolutely vouch for the quality. All I have to go on right now are the photos.
Regards,
Sean C.
PS
Item #391088233803, a Barton Linnard (US$339) looks decent.
