Thanks to the generosity of my 98-year-old Springfield Power Squadron friend, I now have a paperback edition of H.O. 211 (appears to be the same tables but easier to understand text than the hardcover edition) and a copy of the first edition of (Ageton-Bayless) Compact Sight Reduction Table (Modified H.O. 211, which has a price of $4.50 on it, and goes for $55 to $153 on line - inflation?).

Does anybody know the difference between the first edition (1980, brick red cover) and the second edition (1989, blue cover) of Ageton-Bayless?
