Airport with an air museum in the news

This is marginally off-topic, but air museums have been discussed before, and there is another connection to navigation which will become more clear.
I'm attaching two aerial (so-called "satellite view") photos of sections of an airport that is "in the news" this month and will probably be more prominently so in early 2023. Can you identify the airport? I hope I have removed all direct identifying features, but if you know it, if you recognize it immediately, just call it out (no need to wait for other guesses on this one). And why is this place in the news?
