Starlink is known to have its own unreliable positioning system and users have reported that it feeds inaccurate positional information to some devices on their local network on a boat. I agree they could do it better. Indeed any satellite with a known position that transmits could be used as a navigational aid. The difficulty, in my opinion, is that some events that deny GNSS might also deny other satellite signals? I am thinking of jamming especially rather than spoofing.

Inertial, gravity, magnetometry with quantum sensors is certainly going to improve.  Chip scale atomic clocks will improve phase and time of flight based methods. Surely cheap automated sextants will be coming soon as well.
