Unusually superb eye/hand co-ordination required for this feat. It is difficult to
imagine the pilot pulling the model out of a dive in such a short distance. Such
acceleration requires extremely quick response. I can't find any significant
overshoot anywhere during the test run either. Marvelous control if done by a
    pilot !

I suspect the model plane is under computer control however. I know there has
been considerable interest in this area for some time. The Predator Drone is
one example everyone is familar with. A lot of interest exists for much smaller
flight capable surveillant devices. GPS will not reliably work indoors, anyone
know about the performance of the little gyro mechanisms found on some model
planes. Are these based on laser ring gyro technology or a mechanical
approach? Has someone developed a tiny inertial guidance package that is cost
    effective?

    just watched it...

omg, that is incredible. Having flown rc models I have an idea of the
difficulty, and that is beyond awesome.
