It certainly is not applicable to celestial navigation, however it may have other modern day navigational significance. I am not making excuses for the large file posting, only suggesting that the content to me was extremely interesting and I thought entirely appropriate for the list. I thank the poster (Ifland ?) for sharing it with the list. Is the list restricted to only celestial navigational topics? Should the topics exclude modern aspects and instead focus on celestial navigation methods (lunars for example) that aren't taught anywhere for valid reasons. Personally, my interests lean more toward practical aspects of present day navigation.
